They noticed that even totally bed-ridden, fully paralyzed stroke victims were handed over to their relatives from hospitals to be managed at home, while patients still had multitude of problems like bed sores, tracheostomy tubes and other catheters. In developed nations, such patients are handed over to Home-Healthcare providing medical organizations. Our founding physicians felt urgency for organizing such services in Bangladesh immediately.
